Very comfortable and friendly. Viewws to die for. Peaceful and quiet.

Stayed in a cottage and was equipped brilliant. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant which was priced reasonably as well.

Excellent breakfast

We stayed at the Kames while exploring the area which is so beautiful. The hotel is ideally situated in an idyllic setting. The food was superb, especially the homemade steak pie! The Scottish Breakfast is the best we've tasted. Highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at Knockderry House several times and again this time April 23 it was as fab as ever. Love this hotel. Beautiful location. Absolutely stunning food. Lovely staff. Lovely room. Cant fault it. Cant wait to return again.

Our host, John was friendly and welcoming, with great local knowledge, and served up excellent cooked breakfasts. Inverardran was an excellent base for a short break in the west central Highlands, with good road connections to many areas of interest. I would have no hesitiation in recommending this guest house, and would be pleased to return.

The staff were friendly, with one lovely ginger boy telling us lots of stories about the hotel and its origins, and one tall waiter finding us a seat looking onto the arena despite those tables all being reserved (sorry that I forgot the actual names!) The lodge was cosy, clean, well equipped and also wheelchair accessible which we thought was a nice touch. The food was amazing.. A great room in a fantastic location. Absolutely superb service by all the staff that we came across. We were, however, disappointed by the truncation of the menu - no beef/venison on the main menu - and we had been so looking forward to trying both. The staff told us that this was because the hotel was about to shut down for the winter. Such was the rest of our experience during this stay, we will be back next year, hopefully with beef and venison restored to the menu.

Wonderful location and beautiful view surrounded the hotel

Staff service was excellent. Good was amazing. Some noise at night due to creeky floorboards above. Room was lovely with nice touches eg water and biscuits.

Superb luxury hotel .. right on the Loch yet 20 miles or so from Glasgow . Very top end spot yet totally unpretentious . Lots of restaurants and bars , great well appointed room and a common theme of professional staff in all areas of the hotel . Our room was very nice, well appointed with good storage and en-suite and we had a nice Loch view . The hotel has beautiful scenic views and gorgeous interior. The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming, starting with reception, to house keeping, to the staff at the spa/pool and lastly but not least the restaurant staff. I did, however, have one negative experience which was that I passed out in the spa sauna - the high tempature and my low blood pressure were not a good mix. 2 good nights sleep. Good size room. King sixe bed and matress zzzzzz. Both meals and breakfasts were great. The staff are very pleasant and polite. They actually look like they enjoy working there. This could be because it is an NHS run hospital so less stressful on the staff. The views are of the River Clyde. Both days we watched the last ocean going steam paddle ship sail past it is the best sight and sound.
