"Enjoyed the history, luxury, location and amenities of this hotel. To improve check in/ out there is a need for more attentive staff. Address guests with their names, ask if they need assistance with luggage and be more attentive than simply checking in the guest and sending a text asking how they did. Simply put there needs to be more employees attentive to guests. If in the area again, I would not stay at this hotel as it needs to be more about the people, guests and staff. It may be a great place to stay however more attentive employees are necessary. Don’t skimp on the ‘ human’ relationships established at this historic location"

"Room was comfortable and staff super friendly, no coffee first morning on already limited breakfast bar...found a hair (not ours) in a kitchen drawer and an already used bar of soap on top ledge in shower ..so cleaning not perfect..but overall was fairly clean with fresh bedding, etc. Also, room on ground floor and people above us were VERY loud...stomping/banging around...but not the hotel's fault there ..we have stayed here a few times and have always found it comfortable and convenient. Be sure to ask for ammenities at front desk...not even paper towels in kitchen, but you can get everything you need if you just ask! I like that it has a full kitchen too with full size fridge and a stove. (Not all units have an oven so be sure to ask if you need that). All have microwaves though."
