A delicious breakfast was included, then there were plenty of places nearby to eat later in the day. The hotel has a fridge for guests to use, so we also bought food from local shops.

We have been coming to Hotel Villa Rosario for several years now, and the fact that is still one of our favourite hotels in the world speaks volumes. Lovely boutique hotel with very helpful reception staff. Room lovely - jacuzzi bath in our room was out of service but we wouldn't have used it anyway. Walk in shower was just fine. Level of background music perfect, as was choice of tracks. Many hotels blast out musak but this was just perfect. Pleasant bar serving 10€ cocktails and other drinks. Wish we had been able to take advantage of the lovely pool - not quite warm enough outdoors. Short walk from the town centre and a few free parking...

Very convenient location. Lovely facilities including garden and lounge. Breakfast was delicious. But best thing was host. So friendly and helpful, with good advice re places to go. He spoke very good english.

Great staff, lovely room & convenient location

We have been to this a hotel a few times during our journey to catch a ferry. It never dissapoints.

Lovely boutique hotel in Gijon in a perfect location.

Great location for El Sardinero and other smaller beaches next door, a Lupa grocery market, and bus stops into town are nearby, walking distance to Palacio de Magdalena. Parking is not free (10EUR) and there is plenty of free parking nearby. Host was business-like. Not too many dining options around.

Lovely hotel really nice staff excellent food in the bar, difficult to find hotel as it looks like your driving up a high street but once you have found the parking for hotel it is easy to find.lovely old building with lots of character and you walk out the front into a lovely square with lots of shops and restaurants.

Great hotel with a racing theme, cars, motorbikes etc which made it a bit different. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was super, both large and modern. Breakfast had lots of choice, fruits, cereals, breads, pastries, hams, cheeses etc. You could also have eggs cooked in front of you how you liked. The staff in the breakfast room were lovely, friendly and helpful.

Tour by a Monk,although in Spanish, we were able to really see the church and the Monastery. Monk was very engaging for a full 45 minutes.Thebreakfast was excellent and very plentiful.Dinner the same.The Cafe/Bar really excellent with plenty of choice. Car parking was safe and plentiful.
