"We stayed in a shipping container! It wasn't a real room. It was cold. They provided us with 2 noisy space heaters that didn't heat enough. Sheets and blankets felt itchy. We couldn't sleep much. Staff was nice. Location and view were amazing. Breakfast was excellent. I don't recommend to stay there if you are hoping for a nice comfortable stay. "

The bungalows look into the forest and dining pavilion were new, modern, and well equipped. Cindy is also the chef, and serves and excellent breakfast and dinner. She also arranged activities for us, which was fabulous. The beds were comfortable and large, with an outside deck. The location is remote (which is the point of booking - for that tree canopy experience) and windy drive, so stock up on your own essentials! Thank you Cindy!"

"The grounds are absolutely stunning, we had a riverside room and it was pure paradise! Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. There's an excellent hiking trail throughout the property as well as a guided tour available across the suspension bridge into the park. Highly recommend this place for bird watchers and jungle enthusiasts alike!"

"Rooms are old and bathrooms doesn’t flush properly. There are no other attractions around and have to go to la fortuna for any activity which is an hour drive. The resort is good with thermal spas and pools ."
