"I can't recommend Sant'Elena enough! 10/10 food, exquisite views, clean and charming rooms, lovely staff, beautiful pool and bar area...the list goes on."
"Hotel Massimo might be a bit out of town, but it’s a very nice place. It almost looks like a colonial townhouse, which I thought was really nice. Staff friendly, English good, breakfast nice."
"We had a bit of an issue getting into the property. Locals helped with calling the owner. Not sure what we would have done otherwise!
Stairs to our shower area and balcony were not for anyone physically challenged.
Very clean, comfortable mattress, darling small town, and lovely breakfast provided."
"Rengøring helt ok. Flot udsigt men ingen dør eller altan. Kun 1 stol til 2 personer. Nedslidt og gammelt. Ingen dyner kun gamle tæpper. Ikke mulighed for at koge vand eller lave kaffe. Meget lille badeværelse og rum. Fremstår som bygget i 1960_70. Beliggenhed helt i top 100 meter fra havet. Flot flot palmestrøg. Mange gode restauranter både dyre og billige inden for 500 meter"

"Excellent resort place in Italy.
It’s small hotel, old building, very well maintained.
Located in small town has everything you need for relax and quiet environment around.
A lot of potential activities around: great swimming pool outside, private beach at the sea with restaurants and bar.
Great spa with caves style seawater pools with different temperatures, jets massage options and special massages and skin treatments.
Excellent service all around.
Huge park area nearby for morning walks or biking.
Great breakfast, good restaurants around.
Very friendly staff, English speaking.
I would be happy to recommend this place to all my friends and family."
"Pre-arrival email communication very good. On arrival, don’t follow map directions from app: they took us to train station (Casale Etrusco, to use name of establishment, is located at beginning of Via della Badia, just north of Donoratico, at km 266.15 on Vecchia Aurelia). No response on mobile number provided.
Apartment clean but could be freshened up. Good wardrobe space in main bedroom. Beds reasonably comfortable and quality linen and towels, with complete clean set after 5 days. Kitchen lacking some basics: caffetiera, corkscrew/bottle-opener, washing-up sponge, tea towel, things for lifting hot pans, vegetable knife.
No air-conditioning, which we knew, so very hot on return from beach: two fans provided. Knew it would be hot and, on another occasion, would probably pay more for air-con somewhere else, but you get what you pay for and this was good value for location and period.
Didn’t use small pool, but it seemed clean.
Minimal staff (one woman, one man that we saw): low-key but pleasant."
