From the minute we walked in the door the staff was amazing and took great care of us all weekend. If you're looking for luxury this isn't your place, if you're looking for charm, and convenience in a clean big place with comfy beds this is it! I highly recommend the beachfront view rooms.

This place may be older, but the charm is there. The staff is amazing and I felt more comfortable here than I could’ve anywhere else. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking at a place where you can take your family and just enjoy the time if you’re there to be extra, I would recommend you go somewhere else. This is for people who are there to have a good time.

“You get what you pay for” The hotel is old and somewhat falling apart but being so close to the beach is really why you’re choosing to stay. I would stay again just for the beach and price. Staff was helpful and kind

Unfortunately the property changed over recently and was pretty much dilapidated. We were able to switch to a beachfront view with balcony but the ceiling in the bathroom had major leaks when the people above were showering. There were roaches and the pool was not usable. It was full of algae. The beach was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and gave us extra towels and shampoo, soaps.

The best character of this place is the beach access. The staff is also very attentive and try to do the best to accommodate needs. Other than that if you plan to stay bring a fan since the AC is not cold enough. Bring your blankets and pillows. Rooms are ok and beds are not queen size. No breakfast just coffee.

Excellent AC! Comfortable bed. Very quiet. Nice hot water for bathing. Great beach access. Reasonable rates. Realizing renovations are underway, a few minor issues noticed; such as piles of discarded materials stacked everywhere which presents a hazard. Water drain in shower was "nasty". Room appeared to have not been cleaned properly. Not enough soap, shampoo, towels provided. Pool was in need of cleaning, full of debris. Pool shower not working! Not enough staff available to address customers' concerns. Back in the day, this hotel had a excellent breakfast buffet... now there is none. Very disappointed! Hope renovations continue!

Our stay at The Plaza at North Beach in Corpus Christi was honestly all about the location and vibes. The rooms were alright, nothing super fancy, but having a view of the beach made it relaxing and worth it. The beach access was beautiful and super convenient. We loved being within walking distance to cute bars and restaurants, and having the USS Lexington right there was such a cool bonus. The area felt fun, friendly, and perfect for a beach weekend getaway.

I’m only scoring this low for reasons it’s suppose to be getting renovated so hall to rooms hot no A/C carpets dirty pool locked guy never came with key in the days there and since renovations is at work no breakfast serving which states that they are serving over all that’s my score will be visiting later time see how much of an improvement love the walking distance to beach

This motel is in the process of being renovated after years of neglect by previous owners. So be aware of ongoing construction. The staff is courteous, the pool is nice, location by beach isIt's nice for a one great but, it is lacking usual amenities – rooms are small and musty, breakfast is a pot of coffee, suggest bring your own pool towels. It's OK for a one-star inn.

It’s going through development so there’s a lot of fixing that they’re doing. It’s a decent place to stay and mostly it was the shower that was a bit grungy. Otherwise, not a bad location and it’s a place to leave your stuff.

Great location but it’s an older hotel. Clean rooms but furniture out of date. Tv screen was scattered and hard to see anything. Mold in some places. Sheets and towels were clean. Our fridge didn’t work and the water didn’t get hot. Okay stay for the price.
