"Lovely historic property in excellent location. BUT, if you have mobility issues, beware. Rooms are accessible by stairs only. The hotel does not have an elevator. Room 200 has a vintage clawfoot tub with shower. There are no safety grab bars which would be helpful when stepping up and over the high sides of the tub. Owners would be wise to add this feature to make it safer."

"Everything was good. Standard hotel. Make sure you book in advance as they were sold out for the entire Weekend that we stayed, so walking in might be a problem. "

"The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. The choices were endless. Everything was fresh. It was great. Clean room, courteous and helpful staff. In fact, our TV channel selector was not working. The front desk girl came to our room and fixed the problem. We learned the building was just 5 years old. We could tell it was really new. We loved it. Well built. The room was air tight. We heard no sounds from the hallways. Slept like babies!!"

"Staff was friendly …..bed was comfortable but the room was outdated and peeling wallpaper as well as peeling caulk in the bathroom….the continental breakfast gets a Big Zero! Bagels were stale, really no options…frozen egg sandwich…they didn’t even have ketchup packets for said sandwiches. OJ tasted funny as well as very weak coffee. Had to go to a restaurant to get breakfast. The only good thing was that it was next too the Mt. Hope winery, which is why we stayed there. Probably wouldn’t stay there again."

"We traveled as a family (2 adults and 2 kids age 8 and 10) at the end of April. We planned on doing 2 days at Hersheypark but the weather had other plans. We reserved a room with bunk beds which was surprisingly spacious. It also had an arcade game which was a huge hit with the kids. There was a couch and a big tv along with a large fridge and a microwave. When we checked in an older gentleman was working at the front desk and he could not have been nicer. The breakfast was decent and there was also coffee available 24/7 which was wonderful. Normally I would not have considered a 2 star hotel but I saw all the positive reviews and decided to give it a try. This place did not disappoint. If you are looking for quiet or luxury go elsewhere, but if you are looking for something well priced, with large clean rooms close to the park you can't go wrong here. "
