This resort is great for relaxation. Everything is done for you, the staff are thoughtful and the service was good. The spa was amazing. We spent 3 nights here and it was the perfect length stay. The accommodation was breathtaking. The only shame was you could only get cocktails during happy hour.

Firstly, it’s worth arriving on helicopter, worth every penny. The bures are really big and a blend of tradition and modern. Worth going for the deluxe or overwater bures. The staff are the best, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The beaches are a bit disappointing. Not very clean as the tide comes in quite high and leaves debris. Realt friendly staff. Great rooms and very relaxing place

The staff at this resort are by far the most friendly and helpful i have ever encountered. The scenery, wildlife and amenities are fantastic, the food is good and reasonably priced, the fish bar being our favourite. Solid wifi across the whole resort, adults only pool available, lovely beaches and the bure felt very luxurious, overlooking what felt like a private beach. I should make it clear that this review reflects what we were looking for (chilled out relaxation, away from the rest of the world, good food, snorkelling with no crowds) and as such this place ticked all the boxes. If you are looking for a place with TVs in the rooms, fast wifi for your (ever present) Ipad, night life and super shopping then this place simply isn't for you. Great location for all the family to relax and chill. Loads to do, all well organised (tramping, fishing, surfing, kayaks, island tours, village tours, snorkelling with sharks...) just remember it’s all on Fiji time!

We stayed at two hotels on our trip to Fiji: the 5 star Sofitel in Nadi and Tambua Sands. We preferred Tambua Sands ANY DAY over the Sofitel. Not that the Sofitel was bad it was very nice although they did try sneakily get us to pay $400 more than we had to!!! Dodgy! ...but we preferred Tambua for a number of reasons: 1/ It was quiet, tranquil and you felt like you were living on the beach on a secluded island. Pool was nice. 2/ All the bungalows were literally on the beach under the palm...

Have just got back from a short stay here with the family for two days. Whenever we visit Sigatoka we usually book a hotel however as there were a few of us, we decided on a villa style apartment. The villas themselves I would recommend for a short stay. They have everything you will need if wanting to cook , cooker microwave fridge and cooking pot pans and utensils. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most of the staff lived in the village next door which was lovely, as we were able to to experience the village such seeing their church, village hall and some of the ladies who lived there and their Handicrafts. Food selection was average, but the chefs was happy to cook food to order if there wasn't anything suitable on the menu. Room was clean and tidy with air con and a lovely outdoor shower. Location was a bit secluded but was on a beautiful beach front...

Absolutely amazing hotel some minor things in rooms slightly dated but overall amazing views, great food selection amazing staff all round water sports included made it extra special and also a kids club really enjoy our time here absolutely amazing housekeeper Rosa! did the establishment proud left leaf/ floral notes for my daughter which was a wonderful touch

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with this place - if you're looking for tranquillity in a harmonious, stunning setting right by the beach but without the trappings of the big resorts, you would struggle to beat Wellesley.
