Checking was a bit slow, staff busy helping in the restaurant/ bar area. Room was on the ground floor, a large room with big double bed. Clean, quiet just what I needed after a long days work. I would stay here again when next in Calais.

One Night at the channel Tunnel
Location was perfect close to the channel tunnel, we wanted to be in the French side, which is fortunate as the shuttle service was running behind schedule. we arrived at 01:00 local time. Great breakfast the next morning, rooms clean and comfortable.

Staff friendly, overall an ok hotel. However the room was too warm and we couldn’t open the window due to the terrible smell outside! The air conditioning was locked so couldn’t alter the temperature.

Parking at the hotel is excellent. The room was spacious and the hotel is in a quiet location. The evening meal at the hotel was very good.

The whole experience was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent and all was very reasonably priced. We'll definately be going there again.

Our second stay and not the last
We hadn’t realised the kitchen was closed but as we had driven so far the duty manager made an exception and made us a salad and toasted sandwich. The beds are very comfortable the rooms are large. Breakfast was basic but good coffee and fresh orange juice. Our second visit and not the last as ideal for our dogs with a large grassed area and safe walks close by

Good hotel, but I only wish that they could tell me when I book that the restaurant is closed on Sunday and not as in this case when we had actually sat in the restaurant. After travelling nobody wants on arrival to have to travel again to eat after they have booked in.

Pros - Easy check in Room spacious and bed comfortable. Shower fast flowing and roomy English-speaking receptionists Fabulous restaurant in- house with friendly staff Cons - room too hot and no way to regulate heat in room, other than turn down radiator but still too hot to sleep comfortably Its our 2nd visit and would go again because we love the restaurant food which we highly recommend

Fine for the price
Hotel was fine for the price paid, staff were friendly. It's handily located for the local shopping centres, restaurants and Eurotunnel. Bathroom was clean but needed a some minor work. The plinth under the shower tray needed replacing and the door handle was loose. Suspect far fewer British guests stay since we were stupid enough to leave the EU. BBC TV programmes no longer work. Hotel restaurant does a three course meal but we didn't actually see a menu, either in Reception or our room. As a result we ate elsewhere. All in all it's still fine for a night or two. We'd happily return for another stay there next time we're in the area

Great short stay
Good modern hotel. Clean and well maintained. No mirror in the room however there is a mirror in bathroom. It's good to have bar and restaurant on site. Meals were very good.

QUICK NIGHT STOP
A quick turn round overnight stop. Food ok, accommodation of a good standard. No tea or coffee in the room was a disappointment, after a long journey.
