"This hotel is clean and conveniently located to the airport. It is also a short distance from the Grotto, which is a must see attraction. The breakfast is not included, so we didn’t eat there. My review is four stars due to the lack of security. The elevators do not need key access and it is not a very secure parking lot. I trust the hotel staff and they seemed friendly and made me feel welcome. I do recommend a stay here, but would just prefer a choice of free continental breakfast and another layer of safety. (not visible security guards)! And perhaps there is safety measures in place that I am unaware of. Also early check in was unavailable which left me in the lobby for a long time. A clean lobby with water and bathroom options, but still, a large hotel with no early check in? Even to pay for? It was also an extra fifty dollars for incidentals which I have not been refunded. Overall a great place to stay with shuttle service to the airport. "

"Dear management, teach your employees how to handle situations with customer complaints AND don't leave a employee alone on a busy Saturday night. April 11th 1030 at night 4th floor, there was a middle school sports team with teenage boys that were running up and down the hallway throughout the whole entire hotel banging on doors. They were also in the swimming pool throwing the football from one side of the room to the other. There were several complaints yet nothing was done. There was no way to get in touch with the coach because the front desk guy seemed to not know or be able to handle the situation. Completely ridiculous! What if there was an emergency? How do your employees handle situations when they're there by themselves. I frequent Portland often and I definitely will not return back to this hotel."

"Unlike other chains, Parking and Breakfast are still included in the room rate. A+ for that. Breakfast bar had eggs, sausage, potatoes and waffle makers along with the other cold food and fruit items. Staff was friendly. Far enough from airport that jet noise is hardly noticable. Room on the side (with view of Mt. Hood) had no street noise. Room fridge was even quite, but had no freezer section. "

"So i stayed here during the construction and i have to say i was not happy about the work starting at 7am other than that every thing about LaQuinta was outstanding the breakfast was hot and fresh the staff was super helpful and good at their work the room was smallish but comfortable and clean. I used the pool and hot tub and they where clean and i had a good time using them. All in all i would stay here again and i would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. They should consider having construction start later in the morning closer to check out. "

"Very clean hotel with such friendly staff. Towels were large and soft and the bedding was nice also. Room was well appointed. The hotel is in the flight path for PDX but was not noticed after the first plane or two. Easy to access and close to several stores and shopping."
