Copa del Sol

Had an amazing stay at Casa Cupula with my husband in January 2026. The whole place was beautiful, well maintained and interesting to explore. We stayed on the garden level and loved the access to lower-level pool. Staff was all great and attentive, including at the pool club (which hotel guests have free access to). Didn’t want to leave :( Will definitely return again!

Overall we were very happy with the resort. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and very clean, and the water pressure in the shower was better than any resort we've stayed at in Nuevo Vallarta. There were numerous dining options - the steak house and rooftop restaurant were both great! - but it would be lovely if the buffet expanded its offering and variety (for example, a pasta bar at dinner) and also if it remained open every night (it was closed for dinner four out of the ten days we were there). The beach is spectacular with plenty of chairs both around the pools and on the beach. We did have to wake up to get them but you could easily find chairs anytime of day if you weren't picky about location. The one downside was the fact that special event evenings like Superbowl and Valentine's Dinner were offered but charging guests who have already paid for an all-inclusive vacation seems very inappropriate to me - especially since it was over CAD$100 per person. Finally, the best feature of this resort would definitely be the PEOPLE. They were so friendly, funny, and helpful. Angel helped us on day two, making sure our jacuzzi tub on our balcony (wow!) was repaired in an hour...Geraldo on the beach made sure every drink was perfect and speedy...Brenda at the Italian restaurant...and so many others!
