It’s fine if you are used to walking as it is about 4 blocks from the main area of town where people stroll a main walkway and plaza. The property has the basics; fridge, microwave, cooktop and TV. It is not upscale in any way but is serviceable. Didn’t do the breakfast but looked at it and it looked good. It has A/C but it is anemic and we struggled a bit to get the place cool enough."

"Very interesting place in a converted prison. Excellent location for exploring Beziers. Very helpful front desk. Excellent breakfast. The thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the inconsistent housekeeping. Two days of our stay we had to ask for towels as there was no towel exchange or room cleaning. It did have some of the most ridiculous art on display (like the skull picture) that should be burned. Some of the other sculptures had me questioning what drugs the artist was on. We did like the alien in the outer courtyard. Hotel pool had suffered some damage in a recent wind storm but it was really too cool to enjoy anyway. This was probably a one time stay for us."
