"My wife and I absolutely love the Archer! We’ve been staying here for years, since it was under the Kimpton corporation and named The Lorien Hotel. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating, the food at their onsite restaurants is always really good and the property as well as the rooms are always clean. We stay a couple of times a year when we need to get away for a few days but don’t have the time to take a longer vacation…as soon as we turn on to King Street, we feel like we’re home. We won’t ever stay anywhere else when we are visiting Old Town Alexandria. "
"Old-fashioned motel that brought back great memories of when America was GREAT. It was quiet, clean, and saved me a lot of money. I wish there were more places like this in America. Now, everything is so corporate and bland. The owner, who checked me in, was helpful and friendly.
And by the way, the neon sign is magnificent."
