We used the BBQ. It's a great offering that was so much better than yet another mediocre franchise dinner on the road. Our ability to exercise this option was entirely down to the help of the great staff here: after all, although we were willing to clear up fully after ourselves it can't be done until several hours after the BBQ. Also loved the idea that this place has two completely different sets of customers: we were travelling for pleasure like a few other souls who had time to be friendly and chat over a later breakfast. I know there were also a number of truckers and other road warriors staying, but although we saw their trucks, we never saw or heard them at all. Worked well.

The location of the hotel is pretty convenient, next to I-45 and it is pretty easy to get in/out. The staff at the hotel are very nice. We have to extend our stay for a couple of days, because it was a weekend, the hotel was pretty much booked. The staff went extra distance to make calls to the new comers to find a spot for us and kept us in the same room as we stayed before extension. The parking lot is big enough, we never had difficulties to find parking spot for the 5 nights we stayed. The breakfast is ok, not many choices. The room was pretty clean and was kept clean by the daily house keeping. Overall, we were pretty happy with our stay there.

The hot tub in our room leaked water in the floor. The shower would not put it much water out the shower head, it all just went into the bathtub.

The hotel is clean and comfortable! Several local food choices nearby. The pool and hot tub are clean and the hot tub is perfect! What else can you ask for! Btw, the front desk was super friendly and check in with as a breeze!

As expected for a lower rate hotel
My stay was as expected. The few things I would say for you all to think about is the breakfast was kinda bland as far as the warm food. The beds are not as comfortable as I would hope from a hotel. We stayed at Fairfield Inn and suites the woodlands the following night and their beds were amazing as far as comfort. Your pool area made up for that though as it was very nice having a hottub. My final thing was we were not allowed a late check out and I have never been to a hotel that would not allow one however thankfully the Fairfield Inn let us check in at 11:30 and so with the accommodations it saved out mid day. I would come back though as it was what was expected in my opinion...

This is my eighth stay here over the last year. It will be more like 12 visits this next year. I love this place. Nothing terribly fancy, but it has all the basics such as a very clean room and an indoor pool as well as a decent exercise room. Anything else is excess because this place is great. It is clean, and the staff are awesome. I feel safe here. There is plenty of shopping nearby. I’m looking forward to many more stays.

Really the only complaint is the coffee maker apparently was missing pieces, according to my wife, but we all know how women are. lol so she didn’t have coffee and I had to deal with it.
