I have to start by saying this hotel is stunning. The decor, the rooms, the views of the mountains. The extremely friendly staff. This was our favorite hotel out of all the hotels we stay at. This hotel was just beautiful. I highly recommended this hotel. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Me and my wife will be definitely be staying at Casa 1800 again!!! Thank you Casa 1800 for our stay. Till next time.

Absolutely beautiful property, just a short walk away from Ataco Town Square, and a 20-minute drive from Santa Teresa Thermal Hot Springs. Comfortable beds, decent warm water (a luxury in most of El Salvador), and a phenomenal restaurant with spectacular views all around. Small, quaint, quiet, clean. Plenty of easy (and free) parking onsite. Highly recommended!

Was surprised how tiny the room was and how some things needed update since we stayed at 1800 in Cerro Verde and this property was top of the line, but there was a big difference in price. Property and rooms in Ataco need to be updated. The service was excellent. The view and the restaurant were beautiful. This property just need some renovations because it has the bones to be a great hotel.

Decent stay but way under par.
I’m not into completely discrediting a business but this property left me with the impression that the maintenance has been greatly overlooked and the service was less than ideal. A few events in my stay made it very clear: I’d not come back. Price by level of service and up keeping did not match.

Great views but overpriced food and customerservce
The best part about this hotel is the view and nature! The worst part for us was the service at the hotel restaurant and overpriced food and small portions. Our waitress basicalled ignored us, took 10 minutes to bring a menu and another 10 minutes to bring our waters. Food is very overpriced. The charged 0.50 for ketchup and 0.50 for milk with my coffee. That was the last straw. No other restaurants on our trip did that! We had a regular double room booked but it was very tiny and like a box,made me claustrophobic. We had to pay to upgrade to stay in a bigger king size room with a view even though we were the only people at the hotel. Girl at the front desk and guy helping with our bags and finding our room were GREAT! The new room was great and we enjoyed getting out and eating at Piccolo Giardino ($10 artisan wood fired pizza delicious), checking out and getting coffee from Axul Cafe and THE BEST PART for me was visiting LAS BRUMAS on our way out of Ataco! Awesome iced coffee, bought coffee to bring back, customer service was impeccable and the walking paths/trees/coffee plants/lush vegetation was just MAGICAL!! Overall I wouldn't go back to this hotel or Ataco, but if you are going to Ataco, book a bigger room at Casa 1800 and eat elsewhere!
