The outside appearance of the motel was dated, but the rooms were wonderful, and the beds were very comfortable. The price was reasonable, and the close access to the airport was very convenient. The real plus of the stay was the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Susho Wara was definitely 5 stars, with a great selection and some of the best sushi I have had in Canada.

I'm personally a big fan of this place anytime I have to catch the early flight out of Comox since I live on Denman and there's no ferries that run that early. It is a bit older but the price is fair during the off season and staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast is good and the Sushi restaurant attached to the hotel is very good. I personally think this is the best price for the value for any quick stay in Comox.

I've stayed at the Port Augusta for many years when visiting family in Comox. I have always found it to be a safe, clean and comfortable home from home. Staff are always pleasant and helpful.

Had previously stayed before and was happy as room was clean and quiet. However on this stay the room was worn out, towels were see through, the room was stale and smelly. the folks in the upper unit talked and made noise until nearly 3 am. Cancelled the next nights stay and moved on. Staff very accommodating through this.
