It’s right in the city center, close to everything and a very short walk to the bus stop and not far to the train station. It has a cute little courtyard and attached restaurant. We had breakfast every morning which was included in the price and was a really good breakfast with lots of options. We loved our stay and if we are able to get back to Como, we will stay here again!

Hotel is in a great location, ten minutes walk from the main train station (San Giovani) and a few minutes walk to the lake. It is situated in the old town which is largely pedestrianised. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy. It is a little dated, but not run down or lacking maintenance. The breakfast is ok, limited choice continental but as expected for the price.

Great value for money

For the price and location, this hotel is good value for money. Breakfast was basic but tasty enough. Croissants, cheese, ham, salami, yoghurts, cereal, coffee, jam and Nutella. Bedroom was basic but functional. Bed comfortable, air con worked well, shower good pressure etc. a fridge would have been welcomed.

Update your mattress’s.

Great location in Como and 10 minutes walk from the train station . Great staff and more than accommodating. My only problem was being an older very successful hotel that they don’t reinvest into better beds. The hotel can well afford accommodating and purchasing in bulk new mattress’s.

I enjoyed my stay at the Tre Re. Really clean room and staff were really easy to communicate with. The air conditioning in my room wasn't set to work "yet" and I had a feeling it was there as a prop. My window faced the court yard on the 2nd floor and I slept with it open. True, this hotel doesn't have amenities that Americans are used but, but it's a local run place in Italy. Adjusting is part of the experience! My flight wasn't until late afternoon and the staff at the front desk were happy to hold my bags until my departure. Really good location. The ferry, train, and duomo were literally around the corner. I'd stay again... just not in hot summer time with no air conditioning.

the room and how close the hotel was to everything. The check in was a breeze and we were up to our spacious room in no time at all. There is a lot of space in the room and it was comfortable. I would give it a 4.7/5 only because our room could not keep a wifi connection and there was no mini fridge. This was a minor issue because we were gone all the time. This may seem weird, but i relly appreciated that they kept the key at the front desk for you while you were out. The reception desk has a person 24/7 and it was nice not to worry about losing the key while you were out. 5 out of 5 I would stay here again. Walk out of the inner court and you are in the heart of Como.

Perfect location in the centre of the old town close to shops, restaurants and waterfront. Onsite parking e18 per night but Google Maps will try and take you through the pedestrian areas. Hot humid night but AC no longer offered even though there was a unit in the room. The listing says AC is available but the owner / manager does not want guests to use it. Had a twin room but small uncomfortable single beds with only one thin pillow. Ongoing neck pain as a result. Despite these issues great value for money, nice breakfast and helpful employees in a great location

This is a basic three stars hotel. However it is excellent if you are not after luxury. This is not a resort, this is a stepping stone for explorations and travels around Lake Como. Staff is very welcoming and nice. The rooms are super basic, however they are clean, comfy and quiet. The hotel is of course an old building without much charm but again decent. The breakfast if basic. The location si Amazing. You are in the heart of Como city, 5 minutes walk from the Ferry and 5 minutes from all cafes and restaurants of Como City Center.

Great stay! Can’t beat the location, minutes away from lake como and about a 12 min walk from the train station. Staff was friendly, got to check in early, room was clean with nice view into terrace. A perfect spot tucked away in Como.

Close to the cathedral and the lake this is a wonderful spot for easy access to Como. I would have given all 5 stars but 2 more pillows and access to an additional blanket in the room would have been ideal. The temperature in the room was a bit cool for our liking given the recent dip in temperature on our end be night stay.
