Jennifer, As a family owned business for over 50 years we strive to make your stay a wonderful one. Yes, we still have metal keys, and the key opens the main building door, and your room door...as for safety maybe you don't understand how mechanical locks work differently than electronic locks...they are very safe! As for drugs...we do not tolerate that activity one or around our property! If we see or know about it, it is addressed immediately and persons are removed from this property! I, the owner/manager live very close and will address issues at any hour. The staff stays very sensitive about things like this, and will let me know if there is a concerning situation! Our area of the town is typically very safe-the property is not located in a "bad" part of town! Check in-I wish we had more detail...if our staff is falling short of top notch service obviously more training may be needed, or a change of personnel needed. We are sorry you feel you did not receive a great service.

Bad Coffee!? I wish you would have said something to us! We never have bad coffee. Could have been a bad bean (yes its happened) because we grind our coffee fresh every brew, and we buy a premium blend of coffee. I am sorry your review had to consist of a bad coffee experience.

When you mention limited amenities...we are not sure what you consider limited...each room has hairdryer, iron/ironing board, fridge/micro, large TV, Heat/AC, coffee and coffee pot. The pool is a large 60' by 25' indoor pool with large spa, lots of deck space for seating, and large locker rooms.
