"Lovely pool area. It says air conditioning on the description but in the bedroom there is only a free standing fan! In the kitchen area where there is a sofa bed, there is a free standing AC unit which doesn't really keep the apartment cold enough in 40 degree heat of August. I'd imagine that during cooler months that the A/C wouldn't be such an issue. I feel that this should be better described in the apartment listing. "

"We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Serenella. The location is ideal - you’re in the old town, next to the Lake, near the ferry terminal yet it’s tucked away nicely so it’s peaceful. The staff were excellent, super friendly, and there to help with anything you need. The hotel has its own private pier which is great to have to go for a dip during the hottest hours of the day!! Overall, great hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Garda/Sirmione!"

"We enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is a little dated, but the staff were wonderful. Really enjoyed the refreshments offered upon arrival, the pool and spa, and terrace bar for an apertivo. We mentioned it was my son’s birthday, and the housekeeping staff left candies and a birthday balloon in our room—so sweet! Great breakfast buffet and decent dinner in the hotel restaurant. Plus, the view from the terrace is amazing!"

"The hotel was lovely with a lovely little beach bar down the road, easy access to buses to get to the old town, the room was cleaned daily, we had a lovely pool view, no extra cost, cleaned daily, fresh towels every other day he only thing that let the room down was no tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was good."
