"The location of the hotel is excellent, with the best parts of Verona on your doorstep, all within easy walking distance. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Just be aware, if you are arriving by car, that the hotel does not have any parking available nearby. Public parking garage is about 10-15 minutes walk away, across the river. Also, WiFi wasn’t working during our stay. Verona is a beautiful town, well worth visiting."

"Clean, quiet, comfortable, fantastic location. Our host was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Parking was easy just a few blocks away at the cittadella parking lot. At $21 euros a day, not cheap but comparable to most inner city parking prices. We ate at a few places but our favourite was the food and service at Ostinati just steps outside Ariel's main entrance. "

"Rooms are simple & nicely decorated. Owner & staff were great! Went to the bar around the corner for my daily cappaccino & croissant, lovely! The San Zeno piazza is a block away with many restaurants. I highly recommend Trattoria San Zeno! Owner & waiter absolutely wonderful & food is delicious & extremely reasonable! Verona Centre is a 10-15 min walk but I took the Verona bikes from piazza & took me less than 5 min to get into the Centre. Or you can grab the bus by the bar around the corner...

"The host Milena is very kind, friendly and accommodating. Easy check-in and parking. It is also easy to access the city centre by bus as there are bus stops nearby. Rosario made contact when I messaged that I would arrive after 7:00p.m. and was there to answer the bell. To correct a previous reviewer, there is no fee for checking in late: that is the standard City Tax. Good value for money. "

"The area of town seemed a little sketchy. The apartment building is definitely older. Our apartment was clean but had a really strong floral scent which was horrible for someone with scent sensitivities. The bed was saggy and tge pillows were really flat.
