"Cabin #1 stay there frequently not too many issues. however this time wasp in the loft luckily no one got stung. the trees are nice but winds made the trees scraping the cabin the entire night due to weather.. so look in the loft during operating hours not late at night. another time showed up in the evening and no staff available to check in. Was reimbursed but just an inconvenience find somewhere else to stay."
"The kitchen is not stocked at all, no silverware except forks, had to buy butter knives, teaspoons and tablespoons but we left them so hopefully the next people won’t have the same issues, there were 4 coffee cups and the place sleeps 14, we had 9 people so had to buy coffee cups, the door handle was about to fall off which made it very hard to open from either side, one bedroom had water coming in during rain storm. Not a kid friendly yard which is strange because there are 3 sets of bunkbeds. The towels are microfiber and were terrible we had to buy towels. We did enjoy the lake and access to the paddle boats and the grill worked very well, tv connection was consistent for sports weekend. We won’t be back but hopefully this information will help if you are planning to cook food then bring all your own cookwear"
"Our room was large, like a suite, very fresh & clean with nice bedside lighting features. Comfortable king bed. Only item that could be better is the startlingly loud power flush of the toilet. Pretty shocking the first time & disturbing at night.
Very nice breakfast/ lounge area with extensive selections. Coffee could be better. Appreciated a map & guide for Brownwood in the room. Parking is plentiful with lobby entrances front & back. Pleasant staff at the desk & nice notes in the room from housekeeping. "
"Needs a deep clean for sure. I understand there are not many hotel options available here but over 200$ for a damp musty room is really frustrating. Good news is it was pretty quiet for a holiday weekend. "
"My husband is staying there for work. He was required to stay in town an extra day. The host was most generous in accommodating his meeds. I highly recommend this property!
Plus the view from where the property is located is pretty neat too!"
