"We were very dissatisfied, the bar area was was dirty, I asked for a 125ml of wine but was given far more- dangerous! We had to ask for the table to be wiped, the menu was not suitable as we only wanted a light snack ahead of an early morning start. The room was dominated by a drinks fridge that every so often would make a shel noise and rubble, waking us up frequently. "The staff were so nice, really friendly and helpful. We had evening meal and breakfast and they were both great. The pool was fine, had a nice swim, jacuzzi and steam room. The let down was the room hadn’t been cleaned, there were still balloons in the room and leaves in the bath, half a toilet roll from previous guests. Also we got charged 4 different prices at the bar for drinks and a large Chardonnay was £15.95 for a glass, not a bottle, which we found extortionate…"

"Lovely old property, does show some signs of wear and tear which is understandable. Good car parking facilities. There was no food available when we stayed,(except breakfast which was good) but there are many good restaurants in the area. A pleasant stay."
