"Room was clean and a good size. Bed was comfortable. We had a small issue with TV, called front desk and they resolved immediately. Very helpful and friendly. Offered recommendations for local eats. Parking was right outside the door. As noted there is no elevator but we knew that. Would stay here again. Would have loved a hot tub on site or fire pit after a long day hiking that would have been perfect."

"Fine place for our time there, for the price. Not too much at breakfast but there was a place open next door. Packwood is about the awesome places you go from there, not Packwood itself. Note to the management: do something with the old car by the staircase. That became the subject of many inside jokes on our trip. We didn’t mind it, but it’s just not a good look"
