"The food was good although not hot at times, the winter dinner menu was acceptable but not to our taste. The hotel was completely dog friendly, slightly dated in places but we would stay there again."

The bar of an evening has a very inviting atmosphere and Steve the bar manager is a fine host and keeps a super pint of Feathers Best! Accommodation and housekeeping very good. We’ll be recommending The Feathers to our friends"

We were not notified before arriving at the property, despite receiving a revised room number/check in info on the morning of our expected arrival. Communication was not great, and whilst we were provided another alternative accommodation, I have not heard back from the hotel since. "

"A Gem - a proper village pub - good local beer, good food and great staff and service. Clean and well maintained. Stayed Sat and Sun nights for a cycle event. I can find no fault - can only recommend."
