Quiet n clean. Easy parking. But the door catch was missing, There was a deadbolt though. That’s the only deterrent. They gotta fix this if they want a good rating.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend wanting a closer drive to Lake Erie for a few days at the Headlands Beach. I loved that the beach was only 15 mins away instead of my usual hour drive up. The motel was definitely worth the $. It was by far the cheapest around. The property and rooms were a little old and run down. Some rif-raf around. Once we got comfortable it was completely doable. Even my dog liked it. (I think it was the King size bed)

When you check in, there are lots of warnings Posted at check-in. The paint was peeling in every room and the fire alarm battery was beeping all night. It’s a place that people have brought pets as there was chew marks all over the door frames. The bedding was clean. The surfaces were clean and clear. I did not see any trash or dust in my room.

The staff has been awesome to us. When hard times hit, they were flexible and understanding. It's not the Ritz, but for the weekly price, it's unbeatable. Way better than Roach motels of a similar price. No bed bugs. The occasional couple fighting, but nothing crazy. Christie at the front desk is amazing!!

We had been supposed to stay in a non-smoking room. Upon entering the room the smell was as if a group of smokers had a 420 and cigar party 5 minutes before we got there. The front desk staff and hotels.com phone people were quite helpful in cancelation of the reservation for a full refund.
