"I had a wonderful stay at The Pfister Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, the accommodations were comfortable, and the overall service was excellent. I also had the opportunity to dine at the steakhouse, which was a great experience — the food and atmosphere were both outstanding. One of the highlights of the stay was the pool, which really stood out as a very nice amenity and added to the overall enjoyment of the weekend. "This is a bed and breakfast place so you are getting a regular bedroom in an old mansion. Things are not modern but they are nice. The couple that own the place are friendly, unobtrusive and serve a nice breakfast. The rooms are clean and have the basics. There is parking included which matters in that neighborhood. If you want to get away from the informal hotel stays, try here. It's no more expensive but has a lot better personal touches."
