Only good thing about this location was the staff. The overall appearance of hotel was dirty and very rundown. The one stairwell was littered with lots of trash and some of it questionable! There were doors and windows boarded up with no trespassing signs in a number of places. There was dirty brown water sitting in the drain of the tub and the windows were filthy!! Worst of all was the price being charged to stay here. Would never stay at or recommend a Red Roof Inn in my life.

It was what expected. Staff was super nice. Room clean. However, bed needed to be replaced. Ithas a hole where everyone sits on the bed. Also i dont think the pillows were changed from that guest. I could smell perfume on the pillows on the other side of bed. So i switched them. Other than that comfortable.

Place was fairly clean and said it had been remodeled recently. But there were cracks in walls light fixtures were hanging out of ceiling. Definitely needs some work.

While the Staff was nice, the floor in room 105 on Thursday night was so dirty that my feet caused the water in my shower to turn black for about half a minute. Room 125 on Sunday night did not have a mini fridge and the room was so beat up and badly repaired it was just embarrassing that anyone would be put in this room. We have never been disappointed in Red Roof Inn prior to this experience and while we will visit Clearfield again, we will never stay at this place again. We will also be rethinking our twice yearly stays at the Red Roof Inn in Galax, Virginia.

I like the convenience of being able to take my dogs with me without a fee. I don’t like the fact that they don’t take all the linens to wash after each customer has rented. With Covid still a worry the rooms need to be completely sanitized. There was dirt behind the dresser, nightstands and refrigerator stand. The sink was broken. The shower wasn’t high enough for my height. Customer service was good.

Clean rooms - great for an overnight stay!
From the outside, the hotel looks run down. We had one of the renovated rooms and it was clean and comfortable. Don't let the outside of the building fool you! We also grabbed drinks at the restaurant and I don't think they were prepared for a crowd. The service was slow but they were friendly and seemed to enjoy working there.

Please upgrade your property
The person cleaning the room tried her best but floor was dirty, drapes disgusting. Ripping and material breaking down, dirt covering heating unit and the heating unit took forever to heat up. Cigarette butts all over outside. Bathroom spotless but in need of repair. Bed clean and comfortable.

It looked okay until you got out of the car. On our way to our room there were toilets outside the rooms, rooms with broken glass and our room smelled like a dusty moldy attic. While it was just a place to rest for the night that’s all I would advise. It was very sketchy.

The room was just as pictured. It smelled amazing in there. Very happy with my stay. They have a pub/restaurant attached which was very convenient!!!
