We cannot recommend Pluvio, both the rooms and the restaurant, highly enough. If you're visiting Ucluelet, don't miss out! The room was our favourite accommodation on our whole trip. Fabulous couple of days staying here. Amazing location with incredible views over the estuary and mud flats. Sadly rained most of the time we were there so no bear sightings but plenty of other things to do in the area. Apartment was extremely comfortable and wished we had booked it for longer.

Lovely motel with the most fantastic views.

Very spacious, comfortable and well appointed apartment. Quiet location, a 15 minute walk from the town shops. Free private parking close to apartment too. There were just 2 of us, so we only used one bedroom & en-suite, but all good. The only downside was unfortunately we couldn’t make use of the private balcony, as it has a huge tree directly in front & next to it, so no view & limited light gets through to it.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and had a wonderful time. The room was on the first floor with a balcony and a view of the ocean. The room was really comfortable and the bathroom was very stylish. Although the weather ranged from brilliant sunshine to misty rain over the three days, it didn't matter as the beaches are stunning and the surf great to watch.

Great place to stay. Very comfortable. Great little gym and guest laundry facilities. Understand it’s difficult when visitor numbers are low but the only reason this doesn’t get a full five stars is because there was no restaurant

Beautiful apartment, with amazing views. Very comfy beds and spacious.

Bright, recently refurbished room. Extremely comfortable beds. A well equipped kitchenette - the hot plate was a great touch, and the fridge was a good size. Parking was great, and the location close to the centre of town was perfect. The one suggestion for improvement - the addition of an extractor fan in the bathroom.

Incredible hotel and location. Make sure to check cafe opening times. Comfy bed and love the free coffee or tea in the mornings. Would 100% recommend this place! Staff are so welcoming and friendly.

As a few people have noted, there is a little noise due to the age of the buildings and their structure. But overall I found it a lovely, welcoming and well priced stay. My room was upgraded but I did mention to the front desk that by doing this they located guests next door to each other which probably impacts the noise unnecessarily. Nice gesture, but not required. Great value for the area and would stay again.

I had a very pleasant stay at the West Coast Motel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the lovely receptionist, which set the tone for the rest of my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. A wonderful bonus was having access to the local sauna and pool, which added an extra touch of relaxation to my trip. Overall, it was a great experience and I would happily return.

Amazing little place, easily the best of the 5 places I stayed in over the last 2 weeks. Nice, clean and comfortable units with everything you'd need. Perhaps a little cold with only a small radiator but lots of warm bedding. Helpful staff and great facilities, including an excellent Nordic sauna. Close to a beach and the Wild Pacific Trail. The only downside is the lack of food options nearby but it's a very small village.

Amazing find! Right next to a beach with a beautiful sunset. Brilliantly decorated with so many nice touches. Outdoor area with bbq and hot tub was great. One of our best hotel stays.
