Nice stay in Ciudad del Carmen.
Beautiful view from the room. Very comfortable accommodations. The restaurant off the hotel lobby was just ok not somewhere I’d go back to. Really a quiet area of town but great walking and taxis were affordable as well.

The room was just fine. Service was mostly fine but there were a few times we called down to the front desk and were immediately put on hold before anyone answered. We assumed they were busy so walked down to the lobby to find out it was empty no one there. When we asked why no one was answering and we were put on hold each time they had no answer at all just looked at us like we are crazy. The other disappointing thing it says and shows a very nice swimming pool area. We checked in and find out its all closed and wont be open the whole week we were there. Lastly there is no workout area as it stated in the amenties. Was not expecting a full gym but maybe just a nice clean outdoor area designated for people that want to exercise. If the front desk service was better and pool open I would give better ratings. The one person there that was great the whole time was Freddy. He did a good job and seemed to care about his work.

I was asked every day if I wanted the room cleaned, I always said yes, but the room was only cleaned once in 5 days. 2 day the electricity went out and had to sleep with no AC

Good clean hotel with nice facilities.
We stayed in La Venta Inn for 3 nights in one of the suite rooms. The hotel was very clean and well presented. The room was in a very good condition, and cleaned every night. We had a fridge in our room which was very helpful. The included breakfast offering was typical for this type of property in Ciudad Del Carmen, as the hotel is mainly intended for business and workers. Nonetheless, we have stayed in a number of major hotels in the city, and the breakfast here is definitely one of the better ones! The only minor annoyance was that room keys had to be reset every night, which meant visiting the desk before you return to the room. It was not a problem for us, and we got used to it after the first night. We will definitely stay here again!

Good views and close to the beach
The location is really good if you want to stay away from commotion and close to the beach. We walked to the beach everyday from this place. The pool is kind of isolated and pool area does not get any sun. WiFi strength was okay. Breakfast included was really good. They even made accommodation for vegetarian request.

Checkin was easy. The keys are touch not slide which was convenient. Breakfast was great! It was close to restaurants and the seawall without being right in the middle of everything.

Very nice hotel one block to the beach
Excellent hotel close to the beach, the free "continental breakfast " is fantastic, the room is clean and the staff were friendly. For the price payed I think that this was my best option and I don't regret it.

Clean, quite, close to where I needed to be for business. Is a short 7min taxi ride to central area (shops, restaurants, airport). Should be no more that a 50 peso taxi ride 2014/2016 all hours. Nice restaurants on beach side 10min walk.

Good hotel marred by reception staff on arrival
Reception was poor.Did not have my booking, so had to get my I pad logged in to prove my reservation. Room allocated overlooked car park and waste ground , NOT 'ocean and beach view' as promised....Was then offered promised view on complaining..but then door key wouldn't work.....not a good intro when tired after long travel. Otherwise, good hotel, great breakfast and free trip to bus terminals!

In general it is a good hotel. They need to improve the breakfast service, one day I ordered an omelette, and I got it with the wrong ingredients. Other day I ask for a waffle that I never received.

Good Location
This hotel is located on the North beach, convienante location to get to downtown, the beach and work. The staff is friendly and nice, the breakfast staff is excellent they will bring items out to you, make smoothies and cater to your needs.

A great place to stay!
I'm not saying this is the Four Seasons or anything...but, this is a wonderful hotel to stay at. It is modern and clean, the staff is fantastic, the location is great,...oh, and I looked out my window to see a bunch of dolphins swimming in the ocean...how cool is that? I don't think you will be disappointed if you stay here. I would recommend this place to all.
