The décor of the Citadines Hotel is a little dated but very clean, very central and very welcoming. Breakfast and dinner meals were excellent, even for vegetarians. Our apartment, which was on the 7th floor, had a small kitchen, a large sitting room, and an adjoining bedroom with separate shower and toilet. From our window we had a wonderful view of the Drum Tower fully lit at night. We were just a 2-3-minute walk from the vibrant, colourful – and noisy – Muslim Quarter, the spectacular Great Mosque and Xian’s excellent subway trains. It was great having washing and drying machines available on site, as we travel light and do washing at least once a week while on holidays. The rooftop garden gave great views of the city, and we even made use of the very large pool table upstairs. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xian.

About two months preior my booked date, I'd got a message from the hotel (Citadines Central Xian) that the it is going to be renovated and will be closed during the time I booked. They suggested me to choose any hotel from their chain with the same price. I choose Citadines Xingqing Palace Xian. the hotel is good, I had smooth check in, the staff was friendly and had good English, breakfast was OK (mostly Chinese breakfast with few western choices)

Mycket bra och mindre bra

Jättebra läge i centrum med viktiga miljöer på gångavstånd. Åtminstone mitt rum var aningen nergånget, inte perfekt rent men acceptabelt. Däremot åt jag bara frukost en gång i restaurangen - inget rent bestick eller talkrikar, schabbigt i baklokalen, trist vad som fanns att äta - men framför allt inte rent nog. Receptionens hjälpsamhet helt i topp. Alla vänliga men att frukosten överhuvudtaget inte funkar är inte bra. Kan väl säga också att mitt rum inte helt liknade bilderna - men å andra sidan är det stort, ljust, till gatan som är trevlig, och det är en fördel med lite köksfaciliteter i rummet - och här var glass, tallrikar etc rena. Så boka utan frukost nästa gång!

시안에 있는 동안 편하게 지냈어요!

호텔을 고를때 위치와 안전, 가격을 가장 먼저 보고, 그 다음에 청결을 선택합니다. 원래 벨타워 호텔과 많이 고민했다가 호텔이 넘 노후되어 있다고 해서 결국 한국분들이 많이 가시는 시타딘으로 바꿨어요. 위치는...4.5점 정도로 좋습니다. 청결도는 좋은데 화장실 하수구 냄새가 살짝 나긴합니다. 그래도 전반적으로 깨끗했어요. 세탁기도 사용하기에 편했습니다. 세제는 세탁실 건조기 뒤에 있어요. 세탁 건조 각각 20위안정도 합니다. 조식은 원래 아침 잘 안먹어서..그럭저럭이었어요...호텔바로 옆에 현지 조식 식당도 있고 과일가게(현지인 이용하고, 가격명시되어있어요)가 있어서 많이 이용했습니다. 대추가 굉장히 맛있고 저렴하니까 많이 드시고 오세요. 그 외 골목 들어오는 길에 편의점 두개 호텔건물에 하나 있어서 접근성도 좋아요. 고루랑 근처여서 장소도 좋습니다. 슬리퍼, 다리미, 드라이기 다 있고, 콘센트도 굉장히 많아요. 호텔치고 조명도 밝아서 좋아요. 난방은 잘 안되는거같긴한데...필요없는 시기에 가서 정확하게 작동하는지 모르겠어요. 시도하다가 걍 꺼버려서요...대체적으로 좋은 호텔이었습니다~~^^

Prime location

Okay so location was prime, smack right in the middle of walking distance to the Muslim Quarters, Bell Tower, street food and shopping, food everywhere, if you like the local Muslim food flavors....lots of cumin. They have a fake KFC aka Wallace, it was very tasty, be prepared to wait though, cause they cook your chicken as you order it, so it's piping hot and fresh when you get it. Staff was great, Cindi speaks English very well, there is another gal who speaks very well too, but I never got her name. The maids do not understand English, but if you communicate via sign language, you'll get what you need. Facility has a gorgeous rooftop view, but the lights do not work outside....there is a pool table on the top floor, nice big gym facility and separate yoga room. The facility can definitely use some upgrades, but it was very spacious. My shower walls were slimy, but other than that, they did their best. Given the prime location, I would consider staying here again if I was to ever go back to Xi'an. Terra Cotta soldiers is a must! If you stay here, take the bus, ask hotel for info. And get the transportation service from the airport, cost is 280 rmb one way, there were 6 of us and our luggage, we made it fit into a business Buick van, nice comfy ride. Tip the driver, it's a long drive, they are not accustomed to receiving tips, it are very grateful for it. Chinese people work hard and do not expect anything in return.

Hotel is in a great location, you can walk to many many things. The rooms are quite spacious (especially for China standards) - they are also used for longer term stays therefore offered a very small kitchen and had a laundry room on site for use :) Staff were very friendly and many could speak English which was helpful for us! The breakfast that was included in our booking offered many options and was quite good for China standards. I would definitely stay here again and try their facility in other cities.

We arrived late at night ie 2am in the morning.The check in was very good.Very fast and efficient.The counter staff was very pleasant.The only downside was we were placed on different floors for our 3 roome.This situation was rectified the next morning without any fuss.

The rooms were nicely structured. The entire hotel reeked of cooking oil smell. Couldn’t wash off that smell even after one round of laundry. Concierge spoke fluent English, but wasn’t aware of accessing famous sites using public transportation.

鼓楼・钟楼の近く、地下鉄钟楼駅も近いので何をするにも便利な立地ですが、1本筋を入ったところにあるので、車の騒音とかも無く静かでした。 また、ツアーデスクがあり、西線観光と餃子ディナー付き大唐楽舞を予約することができました。 2018年8月末の台風21号による帰国便の欠航の際にも、航空会社への問い合わせなど、対応して頂き、大変助かりました。

Great Location

Comfortable small efficiency apartment, sitting area, kitchenette, comfortable queen bed, HBO, breakfast buffet. Staff spoke English well. Great location as it was walking distance from the main sites. Some back alleyways nearby if your brave and wish to eat what locals eat. apartment was very spacious although air conditioning could stronger.

The hotel is in a fantastic position to walk to many of the local sights. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was OK but the organisation was bad, they did not open all of the restaurant and it was difficult cult to find seats. Good value for money.
