"The hotel is nice, but quite old. The room was certainly not worth the 4-star rating. The food was good but not exceptional. The staff were courteous, but, due to several different teams working there, some things were overlooked (for example I was not told that, on a specific evening, there would be no dinner before 8:30pm - to their credit the restaurant staff did make me a sandwich at 7:30pm, as I did not want to wait until 8:30pm to eat). "The hotel is a little dated but in a convenient location across from the beach and about a 20 min walk to the old town. The staff is helpful and friendly. The reason that I rated it so low as my husband and I would wake up with insect bites that we first thought were mosquito bites because he had found a few mosquitoes in the room. "The hotel doesn’t feel four star until you get to your room which we liked . However there was noise from other rooms which could be easily heard . On our last night a large gathering of local people was hosted in a conference room and the music was thumping until 11.15 so it’s not just a hotel for tourists ! The bar staff were all excellent and so helpful . The reception staff were a bit ‘cool’. The shuttle bus into town is a great service. The small beach is nice and we used it twice "
