"Room was filthy, strong smell of urine in the toilet, thick dust everywhere, shower was dirty and mouldy. Bedding stunk of old sweat. Poor quality mattress and pillows had the worst sleep. Room was freezing small heated provided that was a fire risk. Had the most annoying locks on the room door which would start sounding loud alarms. Felt really understaffed. "

"There is city tax to pay and parking to pay for at the front desk. Which was not announced in the booking. The shower is just a handheld in the bath. This was nit what i would expect for such a place "

"We stayed in several hotels during our trip to the Netherlands and Germany and the Boutique Hotel Annamaes was our favorite for many reasons. It was the only comfortable bed I slept in during the week and the rooms were gorgeous--simply and elegantly decorated. The owner was onsite both he and his team were professional, accomodating and friendly. We felt as if we were the only guests. An unexpected and very pleasant surprise was the restaurant "Flow". Best meal we had, the lobster bisque was fantastic. It was quiet, with a beautiful view of the river. We've traveled extensively and this boutique hotel is 10/10 in every aspect. "POSITIVE : kitchen fully equipped, big fridge, comfy bed/pillows, good shower pressure and size, separate light in shower cubicle. NEGATIVE : we were given a room with a faulty toilet that splashed after every flush. After wiping up the mess on the seat and floor, we quickly used up the ONE roll of toilet paper we had for our TWO night stay. I went to reception to inform of this. I was told that this issue was recorded on the computer. When I said “and yet you still put us in a room with this issue?” She blatantly just said “yes” and gave me another roll of toilet paper, a tea towel and small towel to dry the toilet each time. Stunned, I went back to the room. By the time I decided to complain, it was too late to talk to management. The next morning I went to make a complaint and got a room without an issue. No offer of discount for first night. More negatives - towels were a shade of dirty white and smallest ever had. There was no hair dryer. Couch was hard as a rock. We had to take the rubbish out ourselves, to the other side of the car park, or else! Really???? We had to do the dishes, or else! This place is called a RESORT! I don’t think so! For the price, it’s not worth it and it’s definitely NOT a resort. We will never stay here again and certainly do not recommend it."
