"The hotel is old and full of character but with a lovely quirkiness in the decor. Bed was really comfy. Breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the river was a highlight. Would definitely recommend."

"Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room was clean and had an air-con unit so it was cool. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. It feels like they have renovated bits of it but there are something that are still a bit more vintage, e.g. the shower tray- but, it was still a good shower and that seemed quite new. Really good location to the zoo. Car park is small but there’s a car park close by."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel de France. It’s a great location and the hotel is full of character. Yes, it’s a bit dated but this adds to the charm. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and Loches is such a beautiful town."
