"I was very pleased with my room and ensuite bathroom. Everything was well prepared and clean. The staff were very professional and Heather. the Manager, went out of her way to be helpful. The room was quiet and relaxing. The bed was spacious and extremely comfortable. I would most definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends."

Fantastic views of the property, Hreat to take a short stroll or wander into the countryside. excellent breakfast. very helpful and friendly staff. Negatives: Really Outdated decor. Property not well maintained. Carpets not cleant and smelt musty. Even entrance door mat dirty. Lift did not work for 2 people and we were on the 2nd floor Beds too soft."

Accommodation was clean and spacious, basically as per the pictures on their website, so we were very happy. Our room had a view over the harbour which we enjoyed. The food and service in the restaurant was top notch. We dined there both nights we stayed and it was delicious."

"Overall this hotel was clean, had comfy beds, had a good location if free parking and lovely friendly staff members. Check in was in the pub/restaurant and was effecient. We eat there at night and it was decent enough standard of food with good service from all. Good for a night stop over."

"An unexpected delight. Basic clean room but with everything you need (except en-suite) but you know that when you book, although room did have a sink. The stairs might be a problem with the not so able bodied. A nice touch with a little tray of coffee, tea and biscuits. Great location very near sea front and castle. Remarkable breakfast with quality bacon, sausage and good coffee. The hosts, although only saw them at breakfast were very pleasant and attentive."
