I didn't realize the building was under construction... strong smell of new paint, but hotel was otherwise great.

I was pleasantly surprised - our apartment was much nicer than the photos online had suggested. Sure the view from apartment was limited to the back of lots of buildings and we got some food cooking smells when the window was open, but we were in the heart of Manhattan, what do you expect?! East Village Hotel
Great location that’s central to everywhere you want to go. Clean and cheaper compared to most places. Pretty loud at night like you can hear everyone on the stairwell and in the building along with outside noise
