"Hotel, amenities, rooms and staff are pretty amazing. Only downside- breakfast- very average. Hardly any choice and the queue for the food is quite long. It wasn't that bad, it’s just not good breakfast. Fairly average."
"Good place to stay. Staff are great and soooo helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Always pleasant even when they are obviously very busy. Matthew in particular was always cheerful he seemed to be there 24/7 and always multitasking. The staff make this otherwise average hotel a place to come back to.
10 out of ten for their services!!
We stay here a lot, it's great value and convenient for getting around and visiting Devon .
Well done everyone at Holiday Inn Express M5."
"the mole offers exceptional value for the price with a small scale spa resort like vibe. however we were more than disappointed with the food which could have come out of a kitchen at Wetherspoons. A great shame as otherwise its a real gem."
"Perfectly adequate for a 1 night stop. Location was good, right in the centre. We arrived about 4.30pm and there were only 2 parking spaces left. Room was good, clean and spacious. Not a fan of shower curtains over a bath, would prefer a screen.
Our main gripe was this is a Marston's Inn, a company renowned for it's real ale. We were going to eat in the restaurant around 7.30 on a Friday night but were told that there was no ale on at the pumps, only lager. Not even a decent bottled beer either! Did that mean they would have no ale on all weekend? Not good enough Marstons! We did have a cooked breakfast the following morning which was good but had to wait a good 20 minutes for this and there weren't that many people having breakfast. Overall a perfectly good place to stay in Exeter."
