I like that a cold breakfast is provided with some options, but would recommend to get a small fridge for yogurt as opposed to having an employee bring them from the back. Also, have a covered bread area. There was a gentleman that sneezed near the bread slices and bagels. Overall will go back and stay again

This is an average hotel. For the price it wasnt bad however, our room had a wet/stale odor to it. We used a room spray but nothing worked to mask the musty odor.

Positives: The room itself had decent amenities-coffeemaker, mini fridge, microwave, TV with cable, wifi. I didn't get to partake, but they do have free continental breakfast, and a pool! Negatives: Housekeeping only showed up once, and there was a couple of pretty bad noisy incidents late at night. Not a the worst experience, but not super amazing, or anything to write home about. It was very ok at best. I was visiting from across the state, and happy just to have a room. As a Californian, I am desensitized to the idea of things having a price tag...I think at that price point, if I was visiting out of state I might not have been as happy. I'd recommend it if you are visiting the San Diego and need a respectable budget option.

We stayed there for 3 days. The room itself was OK and the sheets were clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was pretty good. The best part is the location which is a couple of blocks from the Trolley to downtown. However, the room needs to be cleaned in more details. All the handles on the doors and the handles on the furniture were sticky so was the floor.
