The hotel and staff are absolutely incredible!!! We would highly recommend this hotel. Sadly, there was a wedding going on during our stay, so we were not able to use the pool. However, the staff were exceptional and helped us find other activities to relax, and we will definitely visit again! Our butler, Nandini, went above and beyond, and made our stay very very special. She is an asset to the hotel. The driver, Ramesh, made us feel very safe, and gave us so much information about the city...

Gym was lacking plus please remember this has no alcohol license but they did very well on everything else. Pool is sublime

Utterly charming & wonderful. One of my favourite hotels on the planet. As soon as I walked in here in February I knew I’d be back. Hadn’t expected it to be just a few months later.

The hotel is in a good position in Jaipur close to the railway station and restaurants. The check in process was quick and easy as was the checking out. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained with everything as it should be. I found the front desk staff to be very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

This haveli with its beautiful garden makes a perfect base to explore Jaipur.There is a roof top terrace where you can sit and read and there is the added bonus of excellent Wi-Fi and you are able to receive Western News channels through the television.The staff are friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere of the hotel is of relaxed friendliness.There is also the added bonus of an excellent cafe within the hotel which serves vegetarian food at a very reasonable cost.

We loved staying at the Umaid Mahal. It has an Indian charm and most helpful staff. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop terrace for drinks and dinner. Local music and dancers added a pleasant atmosphere. It was simple to get taxis and transport from the hotel to anywhere. Air conditioned rooms were clean, spacious and had a great shower in the bathroom. To be recommended as a good spot from which to explore Jaipur. The stay was excellent and the staff were very attentive, especially Balwant, our waiter, he was very caring.

Rooms were extremely clean and had a very comfortable, enormous bed with crisp white sheets. Great hot shower and large bathroom with hairdryer. Seperate seating area off the bedroom too. Traditional indian style breakfast on their rooftop dining area. We also had the thali dinner there twice which was exrremely tasty. Everything about our 4 night stay was perfect. From our train station pick-up (even though our train was 6 hours late), the room, the food and organising a trip to the Amber Fort and Monkey Temple they couldn't have been more helpful. I've been to India a few times and this is one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had here.
