It was a really nice and cosy place. A cool experience to have the Pumbas walking just outside the door! Clean, functioning AC and comfortable bed. Breakfast was OK, but not very good.

property and amenities were quite nice considering the remoteness of its location. property was in very good condition. Yannick and his staff went out of their way to do their best to make sure the time in this property is the best. i had a great stay and would try to visit again in the future based on my pleasant experience

Fui con amigos a Montebelo, el hotel está muy bien, el trato recibido también, las habitaciones limpias y amplias, el wifi escaso, solo en recepción, el restaurante muy bien, lo único que si ibas un poco tarde te quedabas sin algunos platos porque no reponían, tendrían que tener en cuenta a la gente que sale de safari. Pero en general muy bien la estacia.

Nice lodge in an awesome national park

The lodge was very nice and it was quite clean, although my bathroom had a pretty horrible smell, like sewage, although I never complained. They provide two small bottles of water per day and the breakfast is okay with a mix of hot foods and things such as pastries, fruit, etc. There are a few things that aren't advertised correctly on Orbitz, however. One is that in the garden rooms, it's not a bathtub, but a small shower. Also, the only area where there's wifi is in the lobby, but it's extremely slow and even more so in the evening when many people are there using it. It was nice to see baboons and warthogs roaming around the gardens. The excursions on offer were great and 2 out of 3 game drives I went on, I saw lions, which was awesome! I'd stay here again, but I do think it's a bit expensive for what's offered.
