Great place - Historic feel, Bev (owner) does a great job. Room was fine, grounds were relaxing. Dinner at their restaurant was very good.
This was an old plantation home that has been renovated. It has a lot of charm and is well kept. Many of the old house details have been preserved. There are beautiful grounds and an event space. The owners of 13 years live upstairs and the wife is lovely. She gave us the history of the area and wine/apps on our arrival. If you are in the area, would recommend a stay!

Liked: Cleanliness
They no longer have a spa. This is a very old place, while the rooms were clean and orderly, they're very outdated. But that is part of the charm.
The restaurant however is excellent. Great food at a very reasonable price.

Wonderful place to stay and dine! The staff was so accommodating and the room was delightful! The grounds are full of adventures…peacocks, parakeets, a cat, and Guineafowl. We loved the food in the quaint restaurant and bar. We will definitely return here on our next visit to the area!
Enjoyed this very old Lodge and all of the character. Our bed was comfortable, just be aware that if you are in a room on the busy highway side - it is very noisy in the morning. The restaurant was wonderful and everyone was super friendly. If in this area we would not hesitate to stay again.

It’s a very small town and not much to do. But this hotel is quaint, clean, and comfortable, although old and wooden. So expect some creaking boards. Even so, it’s a good place to rest.
It is a very unique place. I would strongly recommend staying in this hotel. Keep in mind dining room is open from Thursday-Sunday. Excellent food. Staff was so friendly. Roo was so clean, and a lot of history in the 100 year old building. Awesome place!
This is a lovely old Florida hotel. We really enjoyed the grounds and the peacocks. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and beautifully decorated.
Very comfortable and quiet. The restaurant and the food is definitely five⭐️.
Beverly was born to host. Take a moment to relax at the bar and chat with Sean. He has an enormous amount of knowledge about the history of the hotel you will find enjoyable.
I look forward to my next stay.

The owner was so gracious as we arrived late in the evening. The grounds are beautiful. The room was very clean and had character. Our stay was very brief, but comfortable and restful.
Such a cool spot with lots of history and everyone that worked there as well as the majority of the guests were so pleasant and just having a good time!
I love historical hotels and homes and Putnam Lodge is so well maintained with historical details. The staff are very nice and the restaurant is great. The peacocks walking around the yard were an added bonus.
We would definitely stay again!!! The room was clean, comfortable and the staff was excellent. Added bonus was the onsite restaurant that was fabulous.
