We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the St. James in central Manhattan and will definitely rebook for our next trip back to New York. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place has plenty of old world charm with a library lounge and bar with ice, a water dispenser and a microwave if you wanted to heat up any food. Our room was very clean and came with a small table and chairs and a mini-fridge which was great for storing some beverages and snacks. We were so close to everything - a block from Times Square and a short walk to Broadway shows, shops, restaurants, and pubs with a deli right next door. We walked to Central Park, Hells Kitchen, and Madison Square Gardens. We took the train to Yankee Stadium and to Lower Manhattan and the Staten Island Ferry - all very accessible from this hotel and was very fast and inexpensive. Had a wonderful trip to New York and look forward to returning.
