Just disappointed the rooftop was packed and had so many people on the elevator….would have liked to enjoy the rooftop just hotel guests..

Cool vibe and good value for the rooms. Was a bit loud of an area and windows didn’t have shades to block out sun. Great gym and convenient coffee shop on premises. Would stay again.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Attention to Lots of little details makes this hotel stand out. Comfortable, clean, pretty and walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. Near the Lake. Easy to go for a run or walk in the parks and by the water. Easy parking by valet or nearby. Nice gym with easy access. Several places to sit with a cup of coffee and relax between sites. One thing to note, the rooftop is only open certain hours. Thanks everyone from DAndre for food sugggestions to the front desk for going above and beyond to get a luggage scale and then battery for us to speedy deliver for extra towels, you all made us feel super special and welcome

Comfortable and good size room with great amenities. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Loved Miss Ricky’s food and the view from the roof top bar. Had a drink at the 2nd floor bar as we waited for an event to finish before we went to the roof top. The bartender - Anastasia - was amazing!

The condition of both beds was terrible, as the mattresses had sunk in the middle. Because of this, my wife, son, and I never slept well. We woke up early with back pain. It is unacceptable for management to ignore this situation. I will never recommend the Virgin Hotel to anyone.

Bars and restaurants barely ever opened. Rooftop not available for most of the time on Saturday for a private party. The amenities are part of what you are supposed to get with this hotel, not an optional package. Was unable to use any of them because the bar was closed most of the time, didn’t have any snack and the rooftop closed. Will never return. Too bad because the rooms are decent. Please note lots of noise from metro/train on the block if on lower floors (can still hear on flore 17) and you can hear the rooftop music until 2am (from floor 17, which is 10 floors below the rooftop). So noise insulation is pretty poor in general.

Virgin has the room amenities down. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The gym is well equipped too. I expected to utilise the rooftop bar and 2nd floor library. My partner is handicapped, so I had planned on using hotel spaces for entertainment. Both were rented out the entire weekend. The lobby was chaos with all the revellers jockeying for elevator use. It was not pleasant. I complained to mgmt,. and their response was, “you should have been aware of our events”. Unacceptable. Lost me as a customer in Chicago. Lots to choose from downtown. Stay elsewhere. It’s not the workers. They were nice and gracious. Management needs training.

Nice property overall, great location, however service lacked attention and some other things were frustrating . I’ve been waiting for over 2h for bath towels, TV does not work, water pressure in the shower is terrible.

This is my second time staying at the Virgin hotel in Chicago. It’s conveniently located near so many attractions, great restaurants, and the train. The rooms are great and the rain head shower is amazing!
