Construction interfered with operations. Parking was not provided to check in let alone to leave vehicle overnight. I was charged $40 a day to park deep underground with an offsite entrance. There had not been any notice in ads on website about this additional cost. I would have selected another hotel if I knew in advance. Not a viable location for persons traveling with a vehicle.

Neighbors in room adjacent screaming and slamming doors 2 nights in a row until after 2:30 AM. No answer at front desk to rectify. Room above had a barking dog, same situation.

The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was construction around the hotel so parking was tight to unload and load, but we managed. The parking garage was close and accessible to the hotel. The room was very nice and modern. I would stay again if in the area.

I stayed here for almost 3 weeks and was only given a noisy room in front of the construction site or a room with broken air conditioning...maybe racism. the dry cleaner store that they said they have a contract with closed down a long time ago and this hotel does not have a washing machine. I'll never choose Hyatt Place again...really shocked and disappointed.

A fine hotel to stay in in Hyde Park. Super convenient - very close to the Metra and to lots and lots of dining options. Can get a little loud if you're on a lower floor.

Expedia had parking at a different cost than what I was charged at the hotel. It would be helpful to have accurate pricing when booking. The hotel was nice but everyone in our party said the beds were too stiff and the pillows were horrible. Breakfast was a typical continental.

We were warmly greeted by Cordell who was very accommodating. He gave us a few great locations for eating establishments because we definitely needed assistance! Other front desk people were very helpful over the weekend and went out of their way to provide answers and assistance in any way possible. We will return again!

Parking was very inconvenient. You have to check in first, but to find that out you have to first park on the street, which has limited parking, and go inside. Once you have checked in and paid for parking, you can move your car around the block to the garage. The garage itself seemed pretty secure, since you need a card to get in and out, but the hotel should let you know in advance that you will have to check in and have several clearly-reserved spaces for you to park when you are checking in. The room looked fine, but I found the bed and pillow uncomfortable. There was no bag in the trash can. The bathroom faucet did not stay where you turned it, so it was hard to know what the current setting was. I couldn't find any vending machines, so your own options for a late snack appear to be what they have downstairs by the bar. Several public areas outside the main areas were full of carts or other storage, making it feel like you weren't supposed to be there.
