No water pressure sink was clogged drained very slowly and had hard time finding parking on Thursday Fridays and sat nights cause of the bar inside building and if I’m paying to be guest I should have a parking spot not someone who is there for few hours

Do not stay here. It seems like a good deal, but it is not. Its unacceptably bad in many ways. The one outlet between the two beds did not work. The toiled seat would not stay up, you hear everyone else and odds are they are loud. It was like a party here all night. Elevators are so slow and do that arrive at floor and take 30 seconds to go last inch and open. Stairs are disgusting

On Friday evening when I returned, it was very loud in the lobby like a party was going in the restaurant. I don’t know, but it was OK in the middle of the night or should I say early Sunday morning around 3am A lady was screaming she was in distress. I don’t know what was going on banging on the door. I called downstairs and probably 10 minutes later. Someone knocked on my door and said that the person probably went in their room very scary. I will never stay there again and will tell anyone that I know not to stay there. I wish I could have a refund.

I did not like this property the smell of marijuana starts everyday in the parking lot. I was charged twice. The first was through my reservation with Expedia May 9, 2024 through May 11th for 3 nights Itinerary#72821286567630 charged at 11:00am for $304.52. I arrived at 7 pm and was charged again $304.52 at the front desk.. Spoke to two different desk clerk . first stated Manager would call 2nd stated I would get credit the next day. Still nothing from Manager nor credit received please credit my card back for $304.52

Shower, water over your ankle! Leave for some hours only to come back and the maintenance has the snake down the drain and the bathroom was a mess with a smell. Wait another hour with the door open and house cleaning. Key, the keys to the room fell out of the system twice. Elevator, the elevator closed twice and didn't move. There where a few other times the door was just open on the floor. Heater, it took a while for the machine came on and the room was cold . Old microwave, couldn't set time. I would like for a two or three night stay for the inconvenience and disruption of my stay at this property! Derrick Martin.

My daughter and I had to check out (Saturday) and leave at 7am and the breakfast didn't open until 7am. I asked if we could grab something from the breakfast early, 6:45 or 6:50 and was told no. I understand rules are rules but for something small like this, I would think a large company like Holiday Inn would be able to make a small exception. I was only thinking of grabbing a couple muffins and some fruit, something that didn't need to be heated up or made, but I was not given a chance to talk with the kitchen staff, only the front desk employee. We've been very pleased with Holiday Inn's in the past but this was an unpleasant encounter that could have been avoided.

When we walked in to check in, there were girls about to fight in the lobby bathroom. I then checked in and was given a key to room 211 which hadn’t been cleaned. There were no sheets on the bed and and chicken bones everywhere. I then was moved to room 313 and there were dirty towels behind the door in the bathroom and the toilet covered in cleaning solution. I was moved a third time and toilet just ran water the entire night. Bar Louie attracts a loud crowd. Elevator got stuck on 3 and I had to take the stairs. The evening shift just leaves the stepped away sign on the desk. Was denied any sort of refund since I booked with expedited. Gave me free breakfast and some points tho…

Room was not clean. Heater was set to 88 degrees F, room was a sauna when we arrived. Smoke detector had been removed from the room parking is limited and dark.

This was my first worst experience at a IHG. I’m 6 months pregnant and wanted to just relax for the weekend. Housekeeping didn’t change my bedding when requested, front desk told me they would change it at 5pm. Ridiculous, ice machine didn’t work on 3rd floor. Police were called, everyone in the hallways were loud. Just not a great price got the money spent

Liked the convenient location, the rooms, and the breakfast. It was quiet and dark at night so we slept well. Did not like that not all staff is friendly or smiling. Did not like the cleanliness. Some areas where very neglected. There was hair in our tub. The pool area had ants and many used towels on the floor. The pool was murky. The elevators were dirty. It seemed like only one custodian the entire time we were there.

The area was convenient to a lot of stores we like. Room is clean, beds comfy Rooms facing the road can be a bit loud but didn’t really bother us with the TV on. The washroom was seemed like it was falling apart, broken tiles, broken toilet bowl covers but didn’t affect anything. Our room ran out of hot water so I had to shower with cool cold water The elevator had a smell and a slight trip hazard due to the slight floor elevation. The pool was great when it was open. It closed down 2 days that we were there. We were told by the front desk it would be fixed the following day so we decided to book another stay. But sadly it was still not opened. Parking can be an issue during the evenings and busy weekends. My BIGGEST ISSUE : On check out day, the house keeper knocked on our door at 0830-0840 in the Morning!! Not sure why but it woke us up. Was it to signal us to start packing up to leave? Overall for us the price, cleanliness and location was key to us booking here

The property served it's purpose. I needed a place for me and my family to stay while in the area. Super close to shopping and malls. Close to resturants. The hotel is close to the freeway. The hotel rooms need to be updated period. The bathroom was basic. No drawer space at all other than night stand drawer. Breakfast was good. Make sure your stay includes breakfast at Bar Louie. The only saving grace i the breakfast. These room should be no more than 89. to 100 bucks a night. I give the hotel a 3 Star.

Waking up Sunday morning and no hot water. No notice to guests, and no apologies. Just a statement by an unfriendly desk clerk that it was a building wide problem and they are working on it.

This is always my go-to hotel when in Chicago and it is clean and comfortable. However, I did ask for at least one day (out of my 5-days) to have a full service for housekeeping (sheets changed, room cleaned, everything restocked) but that never happened. The elevators do need some renovation, my friends and I got stuck for about a minute or so. The panel wasn’t quite connected in that elevator. Otherwise everyone was very nice and property is decent because it is right in the Oak Brook shopping area so lots of options and there is always something going on in the bar.
