Overall this was a great place to stay.The property is under total renovation so it is cluttered with construction debris but in 6 months when everything is done it will be a great place to stay...The room was good but the bed was fantastic great mattress and pillows...location is awesome right off the interstate and across the road from the new casino. 4 stars

The lady was very nice at check in. She also gave me another room because the tv wasnt working. She tried her best to make it work but to no avail. Overall, she was very nice.

The property was under construction and for ice I had to go to the third floor. The breakfast was a couple of muffins and a yogurt, very sad. Room was good but the noise on the second floor was unexceptable. I will not stay there again.

I expected the property to read Baymont but instead, it read Clarion Inn. We went in a circle looking for Baymont Inn. When I realized I had the right address, I went inside to a hotel under construction, but open for business!, I was told it was the Baymont hotel. Before I registered I asked to see my room. It was a nice size and okay except we could not close the curtain to make the room dark. Additionally, the amenities were not available - pool was closed, no exercise room - was being upgraded. Coming in from a storm and being very tired I accepted the room because I had an early morning funeral. Under normal circumstances, I would not have,

The whole place is getting emissary. All the new furniture is stacked in the lobby. The pool is closed. There is no breakfast available. None of the amenities that were advertised were available. The view was of a field of deadness. It's very hard to get to if you are not familiar with area. The staff was dismissive and unapologetic.

This place had false advertisement. It was under complete construction unsafe! The pool was closed. They didn't want to return my money and expedia didn't either! I had to go back and forth for almost 2 hours. The manager wouldn't answer the phone expedia lied said they spoke to the manager but the manager wasn't answering the phone for no one it was the worse experience of my life glad I wasn't to far from my home. I would never deal with either company again.

My booking was for a room with two queen beds. The hotel only had double beds. The hotel was under major construction so it also did not have a functioning pool which is something we were planning to use. The beds were moderately comfortable, but the bedding was lumpy and clearly well-used. Most of the hotel was under construction and quite dirty in the hallway and common areas.

Room was dirty, beds were not made, most of the hotel was under construction, no lobby area, no place to sit, cigarette in the toilet, dirty shower, toilet was not flush, and so on. To top it off, Expedia made it very difficult for me to get my refund even though I didn't stay in the room and went back to the front desk right away as soon as I realized how gross the room was.

Place is currently under construction so I will give some grace on the looks in the inside. Which was not appealing. The room decor and appliances are dated. Staff was not welcoming. Very short with answers. Not friendly. Will not come back unless last resort. But affordable as it should be.

The room needed better window cover for privacy and safety. Bath room faucet needed to be replaced water pressure was low. Although there were plenty of lamps the lighting was very dim. It is clear the property is under renovation.

They are not letting customers know that they are getting work done at their hotel. The pool wasn’t available, ice wasn’t available, the fitness room wasn’t available, hot breakfast wasn’t available, and vending machines were not available due to being under construction. They need to close until their construction is finished.

Avoid during remodel October 2023
Desk staff was great, but the room was mediocre, no coffee, stained towels... This hotel being open during a remodel is a pretty bad idea. Ice machine not working on our floor, half of our floor covered in plastic with construction debris. When trying to find the ice machine we ended up on another floor that in music blaring and workers all over the place. This commotion was not heard in our room, so the noise level was no problem, but just inscribed upon me and uneasy feeling that the air quality may be poor, or that something may go wrong, like the heat go out or something. We were counting on being able to get breakfast in the hotel like the website said. Breakfast was not available. I was hoping go for a swim, the pool was shut down.

The property is under construction so breakfast, the pool, even consistent housekeeping was not available to me. The room smelled stale, it was burn holes on my blanket in a hotel that says No Smoking, hair all over the hair dryer in the bathroom. Stained towels, and a real bad fruit fly issue. I booked there based on the rating I seen on Expedia but I should have done more research. I was afraid being there and I was there from Thursday night to Sunday morning. I can’t tell anybody else what to do but I can’t stay at that hotel again.

Walked in to find out every thing the hotel had (gym, pool, etc) was closed. Went to my room and smelled cigarettes. When getting inside, the water was constantly running no matter what from the sink, the bathroom door would get stuck closed, messy in our room, and just not what we were told we’d get. Check out everywhere said 12. Was awakened by loud knocking around 8 am. Was told check out was 11 but no one had told us and on our reservation said it was 12. Morning staff and cleaning lady was extremely rude.
