M Hotel Chengdu - Excellent

We returned to M Hotel after our trip to Lhasa, Tibet. To our surprise we got an upgrade to a Junior Suite. The hotel is also walking distance to a few large shopping mall where we had Chongqing "mala" fried fish dinner at Tan Yu and dessert at Modern China Restaurant. Breakfast was at Ikea Chengdu just across the freeway.

Convenient and clean hotel

The front desk staff was good, but was a little less professional. Cleaning ladies are very friendly and efficient. The shower was not up to par at all. The rest are pleasant.

Good Value Stay if you Don't mind the location

My usual choice in Chengdu due to the good and comfortable condition of the rooms. Located in the 3rd ring that's relatively near the airport. Many cab drivers still find place difficult to locate as it is beside a highway intersection. Nothing much in terms of food and shopping around unless you frequent IKEA or Auchan . Need the front desk to call a cab for you , can be difficult to hail one outside the hotel . Good value due room condition , inexpensive due to less desired location , will only continue to stay here if the hotel maintain this competitive pricing .

Great for the price

This hotel isn't so traditional as the entrance is somewhat hidden and the rooms are essentially converted apartments, but for the price it is a steal. Great comfortable bed, choice from 5 types of pillows, clean & nice bathroom, etc. Pool is outdoor so closed during winter, but the fitness and billiard rooms were quite nice. One warning -- the location would a little strange for most tourists (not a great walking area) but is perfect for business travelers who will be in the Chengdu's south or don't mind a short ride to city center.

Fantastic hotel between airport and city center

We stayed at M Hotel for 3 nights during our family trip to Sichuan. The rooms were fantastic - new, spacious and well equipped. We had executive suite rooms for 2 nights and premier rooms for another one night. The hotel is located about 20 min away from the airport and along the 3rd Ring Road near to the southern train station, right next to ikea and a few other shopping centres. It's nicely located for travelling around in taxis but if your main purpose is to visit the city centre then it's not as convenient. For us though this was perfect. Service was great although on our last round we had to request to change our premier room 2 times due to lingering cigarette smell in the room from previous occupants. The hotel is non smoking but some Chinese found it hard to follow rules. In any case our request to change rooms was quickly granted so it was in no way any fault of the hotel. Great hotel, great value.

清潔で静かに過ごせるホテルです。タクシーを捕まえるのに苦労しますので出発の際に焦ります。コンビニが近くに無いので大型スーパーマーケットまで行く必要があり。3回目の滞在でしたがリーズナブルな料金ですのでこれからも利用したいと思います。

Nice Hotel

Our family of five stayed there over the holidays. The hotel itself is very modern and clean with excellent amenities. The hotel arranged for a driver to take us to the Panda Research Facility and then transported us to the rail station which was very convenient and affordable.

One day stay in Chengdu

This is a brank new hotel, a bit far south from the city center, a tad hard to find. Also, this was booked based on it having a swimming pool. However, no swimming pool was available because the hotel was too new. Bad business....

lovely hotel with nice staff (in particular the boys who order taxis etc). Hotel not really finished yet so no pool etc. We needed to be in this area so good for us but not much else close by except big shpg malls with overpriced clothes. However there was a huge grocery store which was a great bonus. very very comfortable beds and lovely linen and pillows. good size rooms. all in all a great stay. hard area to find food unless you speak the language.

巨大マンションといった感じのホテル

フロント三人のうち一人英語を話せる人がいました。 予約内容の確認も早く、すぐチェックインできました。 デポジットは500元、クレジットカードで対応してもらいました。 喫煙ルームで予約していましたが、部屋に灰皿がないため問い合わせると、間もなく灰皿が届きました。（23階泊） 建物は新しく、客室フロアの廊下はマンションみたいですが、安っぽい感じではありません。 部屋は洒落ていて綺麗です。

处于成都南三环，离市中心有些远，最近的地铁站也要走将近十分钟，对于来成都旅游的人来说可能不是太方便，如果不在乎这点，那么其他的都很让人满意，对得起它的价格
