The hotel is clean but there is a ethanol plant near by and it make the air smell awful. They hire must have a bad air exchange because the smell come right in the building and it was so gross.

Please accept our apologies John but the driveway access is not in our control. Our property is too close to the intersection for our own access. We do share with Arby's & the Maples Retirement Residence. First floor double locks necessary on sliding doors opening onto parking lot gave us some apprehension . We were told after that this Inn housed homeless people . Kitchen staff in breakfast area were very nice .

Good location for us- quiet room with comfortable beds. Our room was clean , but tired. New carpet and a paint freshening would really make a difference. Very good front desk staff and an excellently run breakfast room - very clean and pleasant.

Checking in was great. The hotel was quiet. However checking out was a task. My cousin decided to pay half of our stay and because of this I was obligated to return to the front desk and present my credit card AGAIN for verification. I used that card to reserve the room, presented it when I checked in. It should not have been necessary when leaving. The response I got was that she needed to verify the card again. I’ve never had to do that before.

Way too many people in the lobby past 12 pm blasting music, hollering and no staff to shut it down. No late check out, our room was downgraded because of a booking mishap. Would stay if I was in a pinch but would plan on another hotel my next visit to Chatham

We could have 6 people on our Front Desk - it would not make a difference. This is not a common thing for us to have such noisy nights. We do hope that you might consider trying us again. Not worth $200/night, bad smells in room, floor was dirty, bathroom not proper, people smoking all sorts of things outside my room, talking past 12 am midnight, lots of noise early morning, not a lot of options in Chatham - I would stay elsewhere if possible - like a B & B.

Overall pleasant, predictable stay. Quiet, clean, pleasant staff. Mattress a bit soft. Breakfast buffet covers the basics nicely but…. Plastic cutlery & cups - paper plates & bowls at the buffet as well as plastic & paper cups in the room is not acceptable.

Conveniently located close to the 401, reasonably quiet area with convenient traveller needs (coffee/breakfast/gas).
To be fair, I had unique needs requiring early check in and I was accommodated but the lack of toilet paper was odd. No, I didn't complain as there was facial tissue nearby. Room was clean but exceptionally humid even with a/c running. If you're looking for a place to simply crash for the night, the staff are helpful, sheets and room are clean, and bed is comfortable. An acceptable "stop and go" location close to major thoroughfares. I did find the price a bit high at $225 but they do offer a breakfast which many seemed to be enjoying. Wouldnt be my first choice but acceptable in a pinch.

The location is good. Plenty of staff and were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and convenient with many choices.
