. I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Op het terrein lopen 2 boxers rond samen met de eigenaresse. Deze honden doen hunbehoefye op het terrein,maar wordt niet opgeruimd. De geur is hierdoor niet fris, deze maakt het buiten zitten watongemakkelijk.
Daarnaast stond de bloempot met uitgedrukte peuken naast de ingang van onze kamer. Wij als niet rokers vinden dut erg onprettig.
Het ontbijt is zeer karig,zelfgemaakte jam in een potje met een deksel erop die aande binnenzijde veel roest vertoonde, smaakte niet erg lekker.

"This is a lovely old hotel, recently refurbished I would imagine, in the centre of Cognac. Staff were friendly with a good command of English and our room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic shower! Breakfast was very good too! Parking is available but as we visited on a weekend we were able to park on the street outside for free. The hotel is very well located for bars and restaurants as well as the major brandy houses."
