Great place. Didn’t know they didn’t have a fridge in the rooms until we got there. But otherwise a nice clean place to stay with great service.

The location of the hotel is great, and very walkable to shops and restaurants. The staff are also very friendly. However, the rooms are very small. We barely fit between the end of the bed and the wall, and there was no where to put your things. There is no sound proofing and you can hear people in other rooms. There is no TV, and the wifi wasn’t great. The bathroom is small, and the walls are made of glass. The bathroom door is a sliding door that doesn’t shut completely, and offers no privacy. You can hear everything that someone is doing in the bathroom! If “European minimalist” (that’s what the staff said it was) and doing your business with other people listening, then this is place is for you.

This hotel was modern, convenient, and the lady working the front desk was very helpful and nice. The common area was smaller than I thought, with only one mini fridge for the whole building to share, which was quite crowded and smelled a little. Our rooms were modern and the bed was very comfy and clean. The washroom had a light-up mirror and we had a double rain head shower that was equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Our main concern was the cleanliness of the room, as there was a lot of dust on the walls, as well as dirty fingerprints around the light switches, which made us question how well the unit had been cleaned before our occupancy. The walls were also quite thin, and you could hear when someone in another unit was running the shower. Overall, The Arts Hotel is a great, low-fuss, and modern stay in downtown Charlottetown that is very walkable and close to all the main attractions and amenities the city has to offer. We would likely stay here again!

Some of the reviews mentioned it was noisy. I was concerned as I was there on a Saturday night and there was a lineup at the bar next store. I was on the 4th floor snd could hear nothing. It is modern, clean and has a comfortable bed. No tv in the room but there is a common area on the 2 nd floor.

Pictures of the room were extremely deceiving for what the room actually was. Very small room no TV in the room. One chair at a desk to be able to sit down other than the bed. Just was not what I was expecting at all, but conveniently served its purpose for a place to sleep.

Good option if you are very budget conscious and don’t mind a lot of noise from folks partying on the weekends from bars around. Cannot have windows open due to noise. Otherwise comfortable basic no frills hotel, very comfortable beds, restaurant next door, great location. It would have been 10/10 on value if it wasn’t for the noise (takes it to 6/10)
