Unpretentious and comfortable.

Hosts are friendly, helpful, and live on-site. Breakfast by the fire in the living room was delicious, cooked to order, and offered personal choices. The location was on our way to visit family in Hershey PA. Had we stayed longer, would have enjoyed the designated driver vineyard tour.

Cozy stay with great host

Marty was a wonderful host. The Inn could use a few repairs but our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Good location in downtown Orange, VA.

This a wonderful getaway weekend spot! Marty and Victoria warmth and good cooking made us feel at home . Absolutely welcoming from the moment we checked in. The Inn is in a great location to walk to the shops and festivals of downtown Orange. We were close to many vineyards and attended a wine tasting at the Honnah Lee farm! Such a memorable weekend. Thank you!

A B & B past its sell-by-date

The Inn-at-Poplar Hill has seen a better day. Although the host was friendly, helpful and and accommodating, the B & B is quite run down. The outside of the house is in desperate need of repair and refurbishment. The room was clean but was dark and a bit dingy.

ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH. THE INN KEEPERS MARTY AND VICTORIA WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND EAGER TO MAKE OUR STAY A GREAT EXPERIENCE. THE INN AND THE GROUNDS WERE VERY PRETTY.
